I’ve got a negative ‘thing’ about hydroponic vegetable growing. Why bother? is the first question. What’s wrong with good, organic dirt? Greenhouses are terrific, I want one. But feeding plants a load of industrial chemicals? How sustainable is that? But then I come from a land downunder and a big back yard garden. And I just cooked up a Mousagna with hydroponic eggplants so I can’t be a purist. And if you watch video’s like this, they’re so damned cheery, clean, white and optimistic that I have to go along.
